Highlander Lacrosse Club is Affiliated with USA Lacrosse and the Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse League.

As the governing body of lacrosse in the U.S., USA Lacrosse inspires participation, enriches the athlete experience, and supports the growth of the sport. The organization delivers resources to the lacrosse community to help create the best atmosphere for players of all ages, backgrounds, sizes and skill levels to thrive.

From coach and official education to safety research to showcasing the sport’s best players with our national teams, USA Lacrosse works with the community to provide leadership in all key aspects of the sport.

Every coach, volunteer, and player is required to have a USA Lacrosse membership to participate in the season.

Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse League

The Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse league is a non profit boys and girls lacrosse league located in Northern Vermont.  The mission of NVTYLL is to promote sportsmanship and athletic achievement through the game of lacrosse. They provide quality instruction and coaching of lacrosse fundamentals, skills, techniques, and strategies. 

The NVYL league is made up of towns throughout northern Vermont (including the Highlanders!), with an average of 17 towns participating every year.  The league is divided into 3 age groups 3/4th grade, 5/6th grade and 7/8th grade. The NVYLL helps set the game schedule and logistics and supports individual leagues in areas of need.
